Brass Spindle (SP108) Mantle to Open Flame Adapter

Allows you to easily convert your mantle burning gas light to a beautiful open flame burner system.
Our many Mantle to Open Flame Burner Adapters are set-up and ready to install.

• Easy to install:
  • Turn off gas
  • Remove mantle burner stem
  • Apply thread sealer to valve threads
  • Screw onto existing gas light valve*
• Fits most Charmglow, MHP(MPH-GLV) and GLM (VLV100) gas light valves
• Available for Natural Gas or Propane
• Choice of style; height ranges from 2 7/8" to 3 5/8"
• Acorn Tip (shown) produces a large, beautiful, "fish tail"
  
  flame or Round Top Burner Tip; produces a beautiful, wide flickering flame
  
• ATTENTION: Acorn Tip is no longer available for Propane (LP) set-ups.
  We are replacing the Acorn Tip with our new "Pyramid Knob tip"
  
  in all Propane (LP) burner setups.

*NOTE: Do not remove orifice from valve.

The modification is safe; make sure there are no leaks when the valve and burner are replaced with Adapter. ALWAYS leak test all fittings before proceeding using a soap and water solution. NEVER use a match or lighter to check for a leak!
