Mantle to Open Flame Burner Adapter Base
Allows you to easily convert your mantle burning gas light to a beautiful open flame burner system. Add your burner or you may purchase one of our many Mantle to Open Flame Burner Adapters that are already set-up and ready to install.
- Solid Brass
- Top Hole: Tapped and threaded for 1/8" NPT burner stem
- Supports any open flame burner with 1/8" NPT threads
- Easy to install:
- Install your burner stem onto adapter; be sure to apply thread sealer
- Turn off gas
- Remove mantle burner stem
- If necessary, remove orifice from valve*
- Apply thread sealer to valve threads
- Screw onto existing gas light valve
- Fits most Charmglow, MHP(MPH-GLV) and GLM (VLV100) gas light valves
- Small/Short; Height: 7/8"
*Note: If adding burner with an internal orifice, remove orifice from valve before installing
The modification is safe; make sure there are no leaks when the valve and burner are replaced with Adapter. ALWAYS leak test all fittings before proceeding using a soap and water solution. NEVER use a match or lighter to check for a leak!
